Message Unfinished flanges, edges sharp enough to be used at a bar
fight.

Thats actually pretty funny. I LOL'd a bit. The edges were shaved down. The uneven ports and sharp edges are the one reason I got them machined once more money was available.

The AMS doesnt supply the longer inconel bolt at the flange.

This can be fixed by purchasing a longer bolt though, correct? Or is there something prohibiting use of the longer ones?

The manifold gasket they supply with the kit is a joke.

It's easy to get a different gasket, correct?

If you dont care about ethics, and strictly are looking at
performance, these are all valid issues.

I hate AMS for their lack of ethics. As stated a few times, if I had the money at the time of purchase, I would have gone with MSP. It doesn't matter anymore, regardless of what HighPSI says. They have been modified enough to a point where they can be expected to perform at least on par with an untouched set of MSP's.

As far as the issues, the only one that I see as a big problem was the ports sharpness. The rest were gaskets and bolts. I may be totally wrong, but I figure there isn't much that is special to the AMS ones and it can be swapped for a higher quality one.
The bolts don't really matter. I've heard some people have to massage the holes a bit to get the shit ones they have. Can't I just snag a set of ARP bolts in place? Same thing with the iconel bolt, correct? I'll be honest, I didn't think about the bolts being weak when I purchased the manis. I did expect huge quality flaws though

Thanks for the insight though. All but one were things that were helpful to read. That one thing I just happened to have already found out and confronted. Thank you again!
